Dreyfus, president and CEO of the Alliance for Children and Families, has been appointed to the National Commission to Eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect Fatalities by Rep. John Boehner of Ohio, speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. Dreyfus will join 11 other appointed members on the bipartisan commission, which was created through the Protect Our Kids Act passed by Congress in 2012 and signed into law by President Barack Obama in January 2013.
