Circle Connections: New Talent Newport County’s Community Mental Health Center is being renamed for a longtime advocate who has worked there for nearly half a century. Clement ‘‘Bud’’ Cicilline plans to retire in November after 45 years at the mental health organization. He’s been its executive director for 28 years. State lawmakers voted to rename the center’s building the ‘‘J. Clement Cicilline Community Mental Health Center’’ to honor Cicilline, who also served in the state Senate.
