Boys & Girls Club Names Board President

New Talent The Boys & Girls Club of Central Pennsylvania named Phil Shenk president of the board on Aug. 2. Fifty-four years ago in August, Shenk’s father, Robert C. Shenk, was installed in the same capacity, the club said in a news release. According to the club’s website, it has more than 1,200 members. The nonprofit is headquartered in Harrisburg and helps at-risk children through activities ranging from safe and positive recreation to tutoring and vocational motivation.
