Missouri’s Clarity Recovery To Join Burrell Behavioral Health

Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions A Springfield drug treatment center will become part of Burrell Behavioral Health in January. Clarity Recovery, a nonprofit previously known as Sigma House, has agreed to merge with Burrell, effective Jan. 1. The two nonprofits issued a press release that said the decision "was largely driven by a recognition of the important clinical relationship between mental health and substance abuse problems." Clarity Recovery offers detox, residential and outpatient services to about 8,000 clients a year and serves 10 counties in southwest Missouri. Clarity Recovery has about 80 employees.
