University Of Washington Tapped In U.S. Effort To Improve Child Behavioral Health

Circle Connections: Awards & Accreditations A new $1.8 million grant will give the University of Washington a larger role in national efforts to improve child behavioral health and welfare. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recently awarded three multiyear grants to a number of institutions, including UW's department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences. The grants will be used to establish two national centers in Baltimore that will create guidelines for building better systems to care for children with behavioral health problems.
