Florida’s Jacob’s Touch Foundation Awards First Grants To Help Children With Autism
Awards & Accreditations Jacob's Touch Foundation, a nonprofit community based organization, recently awarded more than $11,000 to help children with autism. The grants were awarded to Engage Behavioral Health, and Independent Living. Kimmie Fine, a Westchase resident, launched the organization in 2011. Fine's son, Jacob, was diagnosed with autism in 2006 when he was two years old. Jacob's Touch works as a resource to families of children with autism and also provides care through referral services, grants for therapy and medical services, and education.
