Georgia’s McIntosh Trail To Provide Intensive Mental Health Outreach
New Products & Services The McIntosh Trail Community Service Board (CSB) was recently awarded funding, through the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, to provide Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), the board announced in a statement. ACT is a behavioral health service which focuses on individuals with serious mental illness who have had multiple hospitalizations, have been incarcerated or may be homeless. ACT is a team of behavioral health professionals including licensed clinical staff, a psychiatrist, registered nurse, certified addiction counselor, certified peer specialist and paraprofessionals.
