Illinois’ New Rosecrance Health Network’s Triage Center Busy With Patients
New Talent Two weeks after opening, Rosecrance Health Network's new triage center is busy seeing patients in psychiatric crisis at the same time local officials are ramping up talks about pursuing new ways to fund regional behavioral health services. The triage center was created primarily as a response to the closure of Singer Mental Health Center on Oct. 31st and opened Oct. 29th at the downtown Rosecrance Ware Center. The center sees five or six people a day on average, said Judy Emerson, Rosecrance's director of communications. Rosecrance staff did 49 patient assessments either at local hospital emergency . . .
