HOMEBASE Integrated Youth Services Hub Opens In Sturgeon Lake First Nation, Canada
The Canadian province of Saskatchewan opened a HOMEBASE integrated youth services (IYS) hub in Sturgeon Lake First Nation. It is the fourth HOMEBASE hub in the province, according to government announcements. The IYS hubs deliver a range of supports and services for young people ages 12 to 25 and their caregivers. The HOMEBASE IYS hubs provide co-located access to mental health and addictions services, physical health services, peer supports, education, employment and training supports, cultural and traditional supports, and social and community supports.;
