New York’s Erie County Medical Center Behavioral-Health Clinic To Merge Services With Buffalo General Medical Center, Including Psych

Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) and Buffalo General Medical Center expect to begin construction in January on a joint behavioral-health facility at the ECMC campus. The Public Health and Health Planning Council, a regulatory body of the state Health Department, approved plans to consolidate Buffalo General’s inpatient and outpatient psych and rehabilitation/detoxification units with ECMC’s.
