Virginia Adds New Mental Health Building In Salem

Circle Connections: New Products & Services The Salem VA Medical Center accepts patients from all over the region and many from out of state. They treat about 11,000 mental health patients a year in various programs and right now there's a major construction project going on to improve mental health care. A new 24,000 square foot building is going up in the middle of the campus. The building is expected to be finished in July or August of 2013. Dr. Short says they are still working on a plan for what to do with the old space . . .
