The National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC), along with the Philadelphia Social Innovations Journal (PSIJ) & Lab (SIL) are pleased to announce the 2016 Nursing & Community Social Innovations Lab winning idea that focuses on nurse-led innovations to improve health care. The Patient Information Networking Group (PING), led by pediatric nurse Sunny Hallowell of Villanova, Pa., is a mobile platform dedicated to bridging the transition gap from hospitals to homes for new mothers and infants in Philadelphia. PING was selected the winner after Hallowell pitched her idea to a panel of entrepreneurs and philanthropists at PSIJ’s 27th edition . . .
