$6 Million Kettering Project Seeks To Move Homeless Into Permanent Housing
Non-profit Miami Valley Housing Opportunities (MVHO) recently announced a $6 million project to permanently house homeless and low-income individuals. MVHO owns or manages more than 500 rent-subsidized, service-supported housing units located throughout Montgomery County, Ohio.
The new project includes a 40-unit, nearly 40,000 square foot apartment building that is close in proximity to local amenities, such as a library. Through the project, homeless men and women staying in Montgomery County shelters will now have access to permanent, supportive housing. According to MVHO, no children will be housed in the development.
