AdventHealth Winter Park Launches Hospital-At-Home Program

AdventHealth Winter Park, a part of the AdventHealth Orlando health system in central Florida, launched a hospital-at-home program in early January 2025. The program provides eligible consumers with multiple daily in-person visits from a nurse or paramedic, and virtual video visits with medical professionals using an electronic device. AdventHealth Hospital at Home is covered by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicare Advantage.

People accepted into the program are provided with a computer tablet for video visits with their nurses and physicians, a telephone that connects directly to their care team, a personal emergency response bracelet . . .
