Adventist, St. Joseph’s Form Joint Operating Company

California-based Adventist Health and St. Joseph Health recently announced an agreement to integrate their services under a joint operating company. Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

Under the agreement, clinical services from the two non-profit systems will extend to clinics throughout Humboldt, Mendocino, Sonomo, Lake, Napa, and Solano counties. The deal—which is expected to be finalized by the end of 2018—will allow both health systems to retain their current hospital names, capital assets, and employees.
