Akron Children’s Opens Pediatric Behavioral Health IOP  

Akron Children’s is offering an intensive outpatient program (IOP) on its hospital campus in Boardman, Ohio. The program, which will be fully functional in January 2025, will offer an after-school program for youth aged 12 to 18 who are experiencing anxiety or depression. ;

Akron Children’s said the IOP program will provide short-term stabilization to help youth improve functioning and develop healthy coping skills. Youth will be able to complete the program in four to six weeks.
