Allara Raises $10 Million For Expansion, Partnerships To Increase Women’s Access To Care for Hormonal Conditions
Virtual care platform Allara raised $10 million in new investments, with funding from GV (Google Ventures), Great Oaks Venture Capital, Humbition, Vanterra, and Gaingels. Allara, which is focused on closing gaps in women’s health care, said it will use the funds toward efforts including extending insurance coverage, launching partnerships with health systems, and conducting clinical research.;
Allara’s platform pairs women of reproductive age experiencing chronic hormonal conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, or hypothyroidism with specially trained expert doctors and registered dietitians for ongoing care.
