Alma Raises $130 Million To Scale Mental Health Professional Network

Alma, a membership-based network that helps independent mental health care professionals accept insurance, raised $130 million in Series D funding. The company’s platform enables mental health professionals in all 50 states to manage insurance, billing, scheduling, client referrals, and continuing education. Alma partners with major insurance payers to make it easy and rewarding for mental health care professionals to go in-network.

Over the past 12 months, Alma tripled its professional network size to 8,000 professionals. Earlier in 2022, Alma joined Evernorth's behavioral health network.
