Amae Health Expands Outpatient Treatment For SMI To New York City In Collaboration With NewYork-Presbyterian
Amae Health, which provides outpatient treatment for severe mental illness (SMI), expanded into New York City in a collaboration with NewYork-Presbyterian, an academic health system in the city. Amae Health’s model of integrated care combines psychiatric care, primary health care, therapy, and social work in one single location. The model is designed to serve individuals with complex mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and severe mood disorders.
