AmeriHealth Caritas Backs Michigan I/DD Managed Care Startup, Deon Health

AmeriHealth Caritas made a strategic investment in Deon Health, a Michigan-based specialty managed care organization serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Deon Health will remain independent, and its existing partnerships and care decisions will not change. Additional terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Other investors included Town Hall Ventures, First Trust Partners Capital Partners LLC, and Difference Partners. According to investor news reports, the funding round raised $7.95 million.
