AmeriHealth Caritas Foundation Awards $1.9 Million In Grants To Advance The Well-Being Of Children & Families

The AmeriHealth Caritas Foundation announced grant awards totaling $1.9 million to non-profits delivering housing stability, health care access, and parenting support to alleviate the effects of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). The funding supports 16 organizations across eight states and the District of Columbia with initiatives aiming to strengthen families, improve childhood health outcomes, and create multigenerational benefits.

The grant recipients are all community-led and provide asset-based supports. Projects span diverse regions and focus areas, including:

Housing and family preservation initiatives in Delaware and Louisiana.
