AmeriHealth Caritas Launches Medicare Advantage D-SNP In South Carolina

AmeriHealth Caritas announced that its South Carolina health plan, Select Health of South Carolina, will offer a Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan for people dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid (D-SNP). The new plan is called First Choice VIP Care. It is accepting enrollment applications in 42 of the states’ 46 counties. Services go live January 1, 2022.
