APA Announces Leadership Changes

The American Psychological Association (APA) Board of Directors announced the retirement of Dr. Norman Anderson, who has served as Chief Executive Officer of the organization since 2003. In addition, APA announced the August 15, 2015 retirement of Deputy Chief Executive Officer Dr. Michael Honaker. Rhea K. Farberman, APA’s executive director for public and member communications for 22 years, announced her resignation from the organization, which will be effective July 31, 2015.
