Arizona Becomes Seventh State To Join Reentry 2030 Program To Reduce Recidivism
On April 22, 2025, Arizona became the seventh state to join Reentry 2030, a program focused on reducing recidivism. The Arizona Department of Corrections, in concert with other state agencies, will work to help people returning from incarceration avoid further criminal justice involvement, focusing on increased access to education, meaningful employment, and connections to essential health care services. The goal is to create stronger, safer communities across the state.
