Arizona Reopens Glendale School For Severely Disabled
The Arizona Department of Education reversed its decision to close a Glendale private school for severely disabled students after a reinspection this week found the school safe for children to use. State officials immediately closed the Children's Center for Neurodevelopmental Studies on May 26 after a surprise inspection found the school's student facilities had moldy bathrooms, cracked walls, exposed nails, and filthy floors. The school, located near Glendale and 55th avenues, was inspected again on June 6 after the school indicated to the Department of Education that there had been some significant improvements.
