Asante Foundation Breaks Ground On Behavioral Health Initiative

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (Asante) is bolstering efforts for its Behavioral Health Initiative, beginning with an upgrade of its facility. The upgrade will see the program—which has been administered at the same place since the 60s—relocating to a new location.

According to statements from Asante leadership, the new facility seeks to create a more welcoming, respectful, and less punitive feeling environment for those living there. Included with the new facility will be upgraded rooms and new therapies, including music thanatology, aromatherapy, and young animals.
