Audax Acquires Wellspring Consumer Healthcare

Audax Private Equity (Audax) purchased Wellspring Consumer Healthcare (Wellspring). The terms have of the deal have not been disclosed. The purchase, which was made from two separate private equity firms, Sentinel Capital Partners and Anchor Capital Partners, sees Audax continuing to build its platform through acquisitions. To date, Audax has invested $4 billion in 107 platform and 607 add-on companies.

Audax has been focused on building leading middle market companies since 1999. Wellspring Consumer Healthcare manages a portfolio of consumer health care brands that include Emetrol, Bonine, Bactine, GlaxalBase, and FDS.
