Aveanna Healthcare Holdings To Acquire Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care

Aveanna Healthcare Holdings Inc., a diversified home care platform focused on providing care to medically complex, high-cost populations, agreed to acquire Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care (Thrive SPC). The combination is intended to create an enhanced footprint in Aveanna’s existing 34 states while also introducing Aveanna’s specialized care model into two new states.

The transaction is expected to close in the second fiscal quarter of 2025. Aveanna intends to fund the Thrive SPC acquisition from a combination of sources, including shares of common stock and cash from its balance sheet. Financial terms were not disclosed.
