Baystate Behavioral Health Hospital Breaks Ground For 150-Bed Facility In Holyoke, Massachusetts

Baystate Health and Kindred Healthcare LLC broke ground on Baystate Behavioral Health Hospital, a new 150-bed psychiatric hospital in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The hospital is slated to open in August 2023. The facility will have 30 private rooms and 120 semi-private rooms. Programming will be for children, young adults, and seniors. The private rooms will be used by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health Continuing Care Program. After the facility opens, Kindred Behavioral Health will manage the hospital operations. Baystate Health psychiatrists and advanced practitioners will provide clinical care.
