Baystate Health & Trinity Health Of New England Sign Definitive Agreement To Integrate Mercy Medical Center & Strengthen Regional Care

Baystate Health and Trinity Health of New England have signed a definitive agreement under which Mercy Medical Center, its joint-venture affiliates, and its medical group entities in Massachusetts would transition to Baystate Health, pending regulatory approvals. According to a follow-up announcement, after the transfer closes, Mercy Medical Center will become a community hospital within the Baystate Health system. The total value of the project, based on net consumer service revenue is $292,708,000. No closure target date was announced.
