Bicycle Health Partners With Albertsons To Offer Buprenorphine Injections

Bicycle Health, which provides telemedicine treatment for opioid use disorder, partnered with Albertsons pharmacies to make prescriptions for buprenorphine extended-release injections (known as Sublocade) available across 17 states. Bicycle Health consumers will have the option to have their Sublocade prescribed virtually and then receive a Sublocade injection from a pharmacist, on-site at a participating Albertsons pharmacy near them. Injectable Sublocade is an alternative to daily oral buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone).
