Bicycle Health & Wellpath Sign Contract Extension for Virtual Opioid Use Disorder Treatment For People In Prison Reentry Program

On March 4, 2025, Bicycle Health announced that it and Wellpath signed an additional one-year contract with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) to continue virtual opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment for people in reentry in community placements. Since this contract started in February 2024, Bicycle Health has treated over 2,600 people residing in 139 FBOP Residential Reentry Centers (RRCs) across 45 states. Wellpath contracts with FBOP to provide physical health services to people in reentry housed in an RRC. The new contract expands access to Bicycle Health’s virtual model to RRCs nationwide.
