Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Michigan Forms Joint Ventures To Sell Medicare Advantage Products

Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Michigan has formed a new holding company in order to partner with Blues plans in other states, form joint ventures, and to sell new products under Medicare Advantages. Executives at Blue Cross confirmed the strategy for the creation of the new company, called Medicare Holdings.

Medicare Holding is expected to grow revenue that adds to the financial contributions already being made to Blue Cross by the Emerging Markets Division.
