Blue Cross & Blue Shield Of Minnesota & Blue Cross Blue Shield Of North Dakota Become First To Earn URAC’s Mental Health Parity Accreditation

The Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC), an independent health care accreditor, an independent health care accreditor, announced that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota are the first organizations in the country to successfully complete URAC's Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder (MH/SUD) Parity Accreditation. This accreditation is the only program of its kind. It was established to offer a path forward for health plans committed to strengthening their behavioral health strategies, to help health plans demonstrate meaningful compliance with federal and state parity law.
