Breakthrough T1D Awards $1.5 Million Grant To Blue Circle Health To Expand Access To Care For Underserved Adults With Type 1 Diabetes

Breakthrough T1D, a global type 1 diabetes research and advocacy organization, awarded a $1.5 million, three-year grant to Blue Circle Health, a non-profit that provides free virtual care and support to adults living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). The grant is intended to expand access to care for underserved populations by helping consumers navigate Medicaid, other insurance coverage options, help consumer maintain access to specialized services during transitions in coverage, and support Blue Circle Health’s community-based care model.
