Bury, United Kingdom-Based Health Care Company Acquires Two UK Providers

UK-based National Care Group Ltd (NCG) recently announced it is acquiring Westward Ltd and Access Care Ltd. Financial terms of the acquisitions have not been disclosed.

The two acquisitions are being funded with support from Allied Irish Bank, and will aid NCG in reaching its goal of expanding to operate 5,000 beds by 2022. Access Care offers supported living through its two operating companies, Merry Den Care and Chosen Care. Westward Healthcare offers specialized residential support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and other additional complex needs.
