California Accepting County Applications For Nearly $1 Billion In Grants For Homeless Housing Behavioral Health Needs
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) began accepting county and local government behavioral health agency applications for funding from the Behavioral Health Bridge Housing (BHBH) program. The state has $907 million in grant funding to award for BHBH projects to address the immediate housing and treatment needs of people experiencing homelessness and serious behavioral health conditions, including mental illness and substance use disorders.
