California’s Safe Passages Breaks Ground On New Community Wellness & Prevention Center
Safe Passages broke ground on construction of a new Community Wellness and Prevention Center in California's Oakland area. The Safe Passages facility is funded, in part, by $9 million from California’s Department of Health Care Services.
Safe Passages said the new center will enable it to serve more than 4,800 community members and build a safe space to address gaps in mental health and addiction disorder treatment for children and youth transitioning to adulthood.
