Caravan Health Announces New Accountable Care Organization Funding Program In Partnership With Astria Health

Caravan Health (Caravan) recently announced it is partnering with Astria Health (Astria) to launch a new accountable care organization (ACO) funding program, Astria’s Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). Astria cited Caravan’s track record in the ACO space with 38 successful community-based operations as a primary reason for entering the partnership.

Both organizations hope that the collaboration will allow them to address some of the unique needs the region has with its community-based providers as they begin their transitions toward value-based care. In 2016, Caravan’s ACO partners saw an average net savings of $1.1 million . . .
