Caren Harp Appointed To Lead Office Of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention
President Trump recently announced that he plans to appoint Caren Harp to serve as the administrator of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP). Ms. Harp formerly served as a prosecutor in the state of Arkansas.
Since 2012, Ms. Harp has also served as an associate professor at Virginia’s Liberty University Law School. Additionally, she brings over eight years of experience as a chief deputy prosecutor. Ms. Harp is known to be a strong proponent of the community prosecution model, and advocates for the use of performance-based metrics for measuring the performance of juvenile justice systems . . .
