CarePoint Health Expanding Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Program

CarePoint Health (CarePoint) recently announced it will be expanding its Alzheimer’s caregiver support program. The location of the health system—Hudson County, New Jersey—is home to one of the highest rates of Alzheimer’s disease in the United States.

By partnering with the Act Now Foundation of New Jersey, CarePoint will be launching a free monthly support group at Hoboken University Medical Center. The meetings will provide support, information, and education for the special needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related neurological disorders, as well as their caretakers.
