Center For Discovery Acquires Cliffside Malibu

Center For Discovery recently announced it is acquiring Cliffside Malibu and will form a new parent company, Discovery Behavioral Health (DBH). John Peloquin, PhD, Cliffside Malibu’s CEO, will become the CEO of DBH.

Together, the two organizations will be able to combine treatment for addiction disorder, mental health, and eating disorders under private equity firm Webster Capital, which owns Center for Discovery. According to statements from Mr. Peloquin, DBH is also in talks with three other behavioral health organizations about the possibility of acquisition.
