Centerstone Research Institute Names Chief Executive Officer & Chief Medical Officer

Centerstone Research Institute (CRI) has named Dr. Richard C. Shelton as their new chief executive officer (CEO). Dr. Shelton will also serve as the organization's chief medical officer (CMO). Dr. Shelton brings more than 34 years of experience serving on the faculty of both Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (nearly 30 years), and most recently the University of Alabama at Birmingham (4+ years). He will retain his University of Alabama appointment as he joins CRI.

CRI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care through technological advancement to integrate research and technology with clinical practice.
