CEO Of Nebraska HHS Will Step Down In October For Job In Texas
Courtney Phillips, the chief executive officer for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, is leaving her position this October to take a job as the executive commissioner for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Ms. Phillips has served in her current position since 2015.
Ms. Phillips was selected for the new position after a national search by Texas governor Pete Ricketts for a “transformational leader.” Prior to her time working in Nebraska, Ms. Phillips served as secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals.
