Childhaven & Children’s Home Society Of Washington Merge, Create New Organization  

Childhaven and Children’s Home Society of Washington (CHSW) have merged and set up a new non-profit organization called Akin. Akin’s combined operating budget is almost $50 million. Combined, the two organizations reported working with more than 23,000 children and families per year. 

Akin’s services will leverage the expertise of both organizations. It aims to scale its impact through a community-based approach that partners with local organizations, schools, health care settings, and community leaders.;;
