Children’s Mercy & KVC Health Systems To Build New $53 Million Mental Wellness Campus

Children's Mercy Kansas City, a children's health organization, and KVC Health Systems, which provides specialized mental and behavioral health care, formed a joint venture to open a $53 million 72-bed mental health inpatient hospital in Olathe, Kansas in late 2024. The goal is to expand inpatient pediatric and adult mental health treatment capacity and access in the greater Kansas City area and across the region.
