ChristianaCare & Atlas Healthcare Partner On Ambulatory Surgery Center Network  

Health system operator ChristianaCare and Atlas Healthcare Partners launched a new joint venture to develop an ambulatory surgery center network. It plans to operate in the mid-Atlantic region, including Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. 

Atlas Healthcare Partners works with hospital systems to develop ambulatory surgery centers. ChristianaCare already operates a surgery center at its Newark campus. It has part ownership of the Spine Surgery Center in Wilmington, Delaware; and Glasgow Surgery Center in Newark, Delaware. 

A ChristianaCare representative said there is not a timetable for launch of the sites. The number and locations of facilities have not yet . . .
