City Of Costa Mesa Approves $2 Million Shelter Contract With Volunteers Of America Los Angeles
The city of Costa Mesa, California, approved $2 million contract with Volunteers of America Los Angeles (VOALA) to operate the city’s 100-bed bridge shelter. The three-year contract is slated to begin on July 1, 2026. The initial term is followed by a two-year extension option.
Under the agreement, VOALA will oversee logistical operations for the shelter, such as laundry, storage, and packing. It will also provide 24/7 on-site security, transportation, and janitorial services for the 12,285-square-foot facility.
