Cityblock Health Raises $116 Million, Acquires Rural Medicare Provider Organization Homeward Health In An All-Stock Transaction

Cityblock raised $116 million Series E financing in a round led by General Catalyst, according to a recent announcement. In the same announcement, Cityblock stated that it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Homeward Health in an all-stock transaction. Homeward is a rural-focused Medicare Advantage company with nearly 50,000 members and relationships with health plans in Michigan, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
