CMS Adds Traumatic Brain Injury As A Qualifying Condition For Medicare Advantage Chronic Special Needs Plans
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) added traumatic brain injury (TBI) as a qualifying condition for Medicare Advantage chronic special needs plans (C-SNPs) for the plan year that starts January 1, 2025. The addition was noted in the final rule for the Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D program changes.
